GILLIAN Anderson hit the red carpet with her doppelganger daughter as she stepped out for The Crown’s premiere in London last night.
The actress, 49, looked glamorous in a long, black dress while mini-me Piper Maru Klotz, 29, wore an equally classy patterned dress with red strappy heels.
The Crown is Netflix’s £100 million historical saga, and it’s back for its second series on the streaming service.
Piper is Gillian’s only child from her first marriage to Canadian television art director Clyde Klotz.
The duo were married for three years but separated in 1997 and she went on to marry filmmaker Julian Ozanne, whom she divorced in 2006 after two years.
Gillian also has two more children with her businessman ex Mark Griffiths.
The X-Files star recently opened up about her struggles with mental health issues.
Gillian admitted she has often felt as though she can’t leave the house.
She said: “There were times when it was really bad.
“There have been times in my life where I haven’t wanted to leave the house.”
When asked about her issues, Gillian, who recently released a self-help guide, refused to give any details, adding: “I would have put them in the book if I wanted to talk about them out loud.”
She has written a book called We: A Manifesto For Women Everywhere to promote well-being and to help others struggling with self-esteem issues.
Gillian has also been open about her troubles wit memory, and admitted a friend told her she might be dyslexic.
The actress said: “Somebody had said to me that dyslexia isn’t just about seeing words backwards, it’s also about the assimilation of information.
“I’d always been afraid to look into it, because I was afraid that if I found something out, I would think that I couldn’t do anything that I wanted to do.
“I have this impression that I can do whatever I make up my mind to.”
