They include spanking, intimate toys, cyber sex and using trampolines and drum kits for foreplay.
US actress Gillian, 53, is “sexpert” Dr Jean Milburn in the Netflix hit.
She said: “I am living happily in the denial that my children do not watch the show — I hope they haven’t. When it first came out, I told them they weren’t allowed to.
“But I have no control over what they do at their friends’ houses. I have no control over what their friends show them.”
Gillian, who this week won an Emmy for portraying Margaret Thatcher in The Crown has two children, aged 12 and 14, with her former partner Mark Griffiths.
She also has a grown-up daughter Piper Maru, 26, from her first marriage to Clyde Klotz, an art director on The X-Files.

Gillian, though to be dating The Crown creator Peter Morgan, said she did discuss some of the issues on Sex Education, which also stars Asa Butterfield as her son Otis.
She told Radio Times Podcast: “I have had the conversations with them about certain aspects of the show, and also the importance of certain aspects of the show.
“They’re conversations that aren’t usually had on television that are very important, if not vital, for young people to hear.”
