The Apprentice 9pm BBC1
After mixing the teams up, Lord Sugar sends them off to design and make candy to sell in Brighton, but there’s nothing sweet about the ensuing in-fighting…
Alana heads up Titans, who call their brand ‘Guiltees’ and choose to manufacture champagne and strawberry sweets and cappuccino toffee, while Oliver’s Nebula call their brand ‘Suck It And Sea’ and opt for ice-cream flavour rock and salt ’n’ vinegar fudge (yes, you read that right).
The manufacturing process alone is a sight you won’t want to miss, but when it comes to selling, Alana would like everyone on her team to stick to the same pricing scheme, while Paul just seems constantly infuriated with his teammates, branding their effort a “shambles”.
It all leaves Lord Sugar with a rather bad taste in his mouth.
The Fall 9pm BBC2
This third series may be slower and less suspenseful than the first two, largely due to Spector’s containment, but the acting and writing remain second to none.
Now we’re past the halfway mark in the run, we make some strides towards the show’s endgame tonight as Paul’s circumstances shift and Stella’s (Gillian Anderson) composure begins to unravel.
New! Me And My Affair 10pm C5
While it might be about matters of the heart, this hard-hitting documentary is much more sad than saucy. Both cheats and the cheated-on talk about their relationships and feelings directly to camera.
With little to distract, the stories are all fascinating and brutally personal. And some, like Jerry’s, come with a sting in the tail. A fascinating watch.
New! Tattoo Fixers: Stand Up To Cancer 10pm C4
To warm you up for tomorrow’s impressive night of fundraising, Jay, Alice, Sketch and Paisley are visited by some famous faces in need of ink help.
