FANS of The Fall are struggling with the usually gripping drama – because of all the WHISPERING.
As the second episode of the third series, starring Gillian Anderson as detective Stella and hunk Jamie Dornan in the role of a serial killer, aired on Thursday viewers were not impressed by the constant muttering.

“Time for the subtitles when Stella starts the whispering.. #TheFall,” wrote one viewer on Twitter.
Another frustrated fan asked: “Why can’t Gillian Anderson speak at a normal level?! STOP WHISPERING! ARGH. #TheFall”
And despite the action focusing on serial killer Paul Spectre’s life hanging in the balance after he was shot by the detective, some went as far as to say the episode was “dull.”

“Last week it was all hospital. This week it’s all…..interviews and hospital. So bloody dull. Too much whispering,” complained one viewer.
More than one announced that they’d opted for subtitling the show in order to get through the hour.
“Resorted to subtitles as they won’t stop whispering! #TheFall,” tweeted a frustrated fan.

For others the concern was that Paul Spectre had been placed under the care of a brunette nurse – who looked the spitting image of his victims.
“should his only nurse be a blatant lookalike for all his previous victims? #TheFall #TheFallseason3,” they asked.
While one joked: “Paul, I’m your nurse, I have the profile and looks of your ideal victim. Feel free to attack me at your leisure” #TheFall”
